Will The Draw-Tite Hitch Cargo Carrier # 6502 Clear The Rear Swing Door On My 2004 Isuzu Rodeo

I have a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo with a swing out rear door. I have 8-1/2 from the top of my receiver hitch to the bottom edge of my rear door and want to confirm that when opened, it will clear the top edge of the carrier while in the down position. What is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of platform lip in the down position. Thanks,

I walked out to our warehouse and assembled the Draw-Tite Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # 6502. From the top of the shank to the top edge of the carrier I measured 6-5/8 inches when the carrier is not folded up. Yes, you will be able to open the rear door on your 2004 Isuzu Rodeo when the Draw-Tite Cargo Carrier is attached.

Part # 6502 comes with a hitch pin to secure to your hitch, for added security we have the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # e98880.
