The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 referenced in your question is indeed confirmed to fit your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon Limited, as long as it is not the Sport model. The same wiring harness did carry over from the 2017 model Outback Wagon. This custom-fit harness will connect directly to the built-in ports located behind the driver side trim panel on the vehicle. Once installed, this will give you the necessary 4-Way at the rear of the Outback Wagon to connect with and power your trailer's signal lights.
I have attached the written installation details and a video on the 2017 Outback Wagon that you can use for reference.
Then for a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75673. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide a 2 inch receiver opening for your ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory. I recommend the Draw-Tite model over the Curt hitch that is also confirmed to fit, because unlike Curt, Draw-Tite does not require the use of additional stabilizing straps for non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers.
I have attached the installation details for you to look through. As with the wiring harnesses, the trailer hitches for the 2018 model Outback Wagon also carried over from the 2017 vehicle.
