Most Efficient Way To Charge 50 Amp Hour Batteries

Question:

I know the the recommended Ah range for the Multi US 25000 is 50 - 500 Ah batteries, but what happens if I want to charge smaller batteries? What is the slowest charge rate?

I spoke with contact at CTEK and they informed me that the CTEK MULTI US 25000 High-Capacity part # CTEK56674 only has one charge rate, which is a bulk charge. It does however have a maintenance charge but should not be used for charging the entire battery but rather to ensure the battery stays charged. Therefore, the slowest charge rate for this battery charger is bulk charge.

If you are looking to charge a battery smaller than 50 amp hours, I recommend going with the CTEK MULTI US 7002 part # CTEK56353. This battery charger is designed to work with batteries 14 to 150 amp hours. Again there is only one charge rate, which again is a bulk charge. We use this charger regularly in our shop and it does a great job.
