Could Back Up Camera Use License Plate Circuit for Activation
Question:
My backup camera is mounted right above my license plate mount on my lift gate. Can I tap into it for power rather than taping into my backup light?

If you wanted your backup camera to activate when your vehicle has the head lights or running lights turned on then yes you could use that circuit for powering your back up camera.
