Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatibility with Bumper Guard on 2012 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Im looking to buy this hitch. My question here is will it fit along with my rear bumper guard that is bolted where the hitch should be. Can I intalll it on top of it and just place the screws or would I have to get rid of the bumper guard ?

For the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13534 to fit properly you would need to remove the bumper guard. The side bolts would not line up if you installed the bottom over another bracket. I've attached a video of this installation for you.
