B&W Gooseneck Hitch Compatible with the Sliding B&W Companion for a 2011 Ford F-350 Dually
Question:
Hey I am looking to get the under body part for my BandW Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter with the sliding rails. I have a 2011 F350 long bed dually. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you.

The B&W Gooseneck Hitch that you will need so that you can use the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3400 in your 2011 Ford F-350 can be found on our site listed as part # BWGNRK1111.
Since you have the long bed you will not need to use the sliding feature of the Companion so you can leave it in the locked position. Sliding 5th wheel hitches are recommended for trucks that have bed under 8 feet so that they will not hit the cab during tight turns. This is something you will not have to worry about.
I do recommend using the Extended Latch Pin Handle # BWGNXA1800 since you have a dually. This will make locking the Companion or your gooseneck hitch ball into the gooseneck hitch much easier.
Another thing that will make things a little easier would be to install a 7-Way in the bed of your F-350 if it doesn't already have one. Installing a 7-Way like the Bargman # 50-97-410 will make connecting and disconnecting the 7-Ways on your trailers much easier.
I have attached installation videos of the B&W Gooseneck hitch and the 7-Way being installed in similar F-350s for you to reference.
