Electric Winch Needed to Pull Heavy Aluminum Boat Onto Trailer
Question:
Looking for some ideas of possible winch system that could be used either pole/post mounted or side of cabin mounted to help pull heavy 16 foot aluminum boat up from beach tidal saltwater so can be a distance and some slope as well as packing supplies up to house/cabin from beach by pulling small wagon/trailer shuttle up? A/C power is likely best for this situation.

One of the most heavy-duty winches that we have for marine use is the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25215 which has a load capacity of 3,000 lbs but can pull up to a 9,000-lb boat depending on what you have on your trailer.
I have attached a picture that goes over some of the things to look at when choosing a winch as well as some helpful articles and a review video. The best way to power a winch is by using a 12V battery - this is depicted in one of the helpful articles.
To help increase the lifespan of the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm I also recommend getting the Dutton-Lainson Winch Cover # DL24051 for when you are not using the winch.
For an AC powered winch you could potentially use the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25046 which comes with a remote, manual crank, and a pully (if you choose to use it).
