Thule T2 Pro Compatibility with a 2015 Ram ProMaster 1500

Hello, thank you for your excellent review and demonstration of the Thule T2/T4 bike racks. Do you know if you can open the rear doors on a ram pro master van if you tilt down the bike rack with it fully loaded? Thank you very much for any help you can provide

We have not tested the Thule T2 Pro # TH83JV on a 2015 Ram ProMaster 1500 for rear door clearance. You will most likely need a hitch extender to have proper clearance, though.
A good option for a hitch extender is tetrailer # e88YR which will extend that hitch pin hole measurement out an extra 8 inches. This extender does have a Tongue Weight rating of 300 lbs, but it also reduces the TW rating of your hitch receiver by 50%. You will be limited by the lowest rated component so you will want to keep that in mind when loading bikes on the T2 which weighs in at around 52 lbs.
