In order to wire a vehicle for lights to be flat towed, you have a couple of options. However, you will not be able to use the vehicles wiring harness as it does not accept input signals. Instead, you can wire the vehicle with diodes.
There are 2 ways in which to wire a vehicle that has a 3 wire system like your 2010 Honda CR-V. It can wired to works as a 2 wire system, or it can be wired to run as a 3 wire system. In either case, you will need Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154. This alone will allow you to wire it as a 2-wire system with brake lights and turn signals on the same bulb.
To have separate brake lights and turn signals, you will need to add 2 additional diodes, # RM-792, and a tail light converter, # 118158. I have included a link to our FAQ article that explains both wiring methods. I have also included a link to our collection of flat towing article that you may find as a good reference.
