Is the NV 2.0 NV22G Compatible with a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Conversion Van
Question:
Have a 144 inch wb mercedes 2500 sprinter van conversion with a c3 , 2 inch hitch. I am looking for a platform bike rack like your Kuat NV 2.0. Will this work or is our sprinter considered an RV which I know are different. Also, we do have a continental kit spare tire. Looking at carrying 2, sub 30 pound bikes.

You will be perfectly fine using the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G with your 2016 Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter Conversion Van with a C3, 2 inch hitch.
Since the trailer hitch receivers on RVs and trailers are located further away from the rear axle it causes a lot more stress on accessories that are installed in them. That is why only certain bike racks are rated for trailers and RVs. Your Sprinter has a normal distance from the rear axle to where the hitch receiver is located so you can use the NV 2.0 safely.
Since you have the continental spare tire kit on the back door you will need to use a hitch extender like part # C45795 to clear the spare tire. This will reduce your hitch's Tongue Weight (TW) capacity by 50% so you will need to do some checking to make sure that everything is under the specific TW capacity of your hitch receiver. With both of your bikes weighing in at 30 lbs you will be at about the 120-lb mark when using this bike rack with both of your bikes.
