What is the Circumference of Dutton-Lainson A-Frame Trailer Jack, # DL22530

Question:

I have a A-Frame trailer jack for a small camper 13 foot a fun finder and the jack broke. It is a 1000 lb jack and I cant find a replacement locally. It has the standard A Frame bolt pattern but the jack is 6.5 inches in circumference and the standard a-frame is too big for the hole. I need to find out the circumference of this jack at the biggest part.

The outer tube of a jack is usually measured in diameter. The diameter of the Dutton-Lainson A-Frame Trailer Jack, # DL22530, is 2 inches. If you take the diameter and multiply it by pi to get the circumference, it ends up being 6.28 inches. You would need a jack that measures 2 inches to 2-1/16 inches in diameter.

I went out to the warehouse and all of the smaller A-frame jacks I measured had that 7 inch circumference. However, I do believe I have a solution for you. While I was out in the warehouse I also measured the Bulldog Heavy-Duty, Rack-and-Gear Jack with Steel Wheel, # BD165411. The Circumference, including the teeth was under 6-1/2 inches. It has the standard A-frame mounting pattern and a 1,200 inch capacity. The steel wheel is included.
