Will I Need to Trim the Front Fascia to Install Roadmaster Base Plate # 1559-1 on a 2008 Honda CR-V
Question:
Will I have to cut away any of the plastic under body work in order to install this unit on my 2008 Honda CR-V? Thanks

Yes, you will need to trim the lower plastic fascia on your 2008 Honda CR-V to install this Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521559-4.

For a lighting solution I would recommend you use a Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154. I attached a video of this product being installed onto a 2006 Jeep Liberty for you to check out also. If you wanted a less permanent lighting solution you would want a RoadMaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights, part # RM-2120.
To lighten the braking load of your tow vehicle I would recommend that you get a Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400. Some states require that you have a supplemental braking system when flat towing a vehicle, you should consult your local laws and regulations as well as any state you plan on traveling through.
Finally, you will need to check with the manufacturer and/or your vehicle owners manual for instructions on the proper procedure for towing your vehicle because some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, an axle disconnect, drive line disconnect, or free-wheeling hubs before they can be towed.
