Could Brophy Hitch Extender # ST18 Be Used On 2003 Ford F-250

Question:

As stated in the Subject block, I have a F-250 long bed pick up which I carry a 9 1/2 foot camper. My truck has a factory towing package that I would like to use with your hitch extension. Im wanting to tow a Bass Tracker 16 foot aluminum boat with a 50 hp outboard and standard equipment. What hitch extension would you recommend? I know you have an excellent product and look forward to your response.

You didn't mention how long of an extension you need, but the part # ST18 will give you 18 inches of extension which sometimes is enough to allow you to tow a trailer with a camper but that depends on the dimensions of the camper.

You should note that using this will cut the capacity of the hitch by one-third. If your towing capacity can handle the reduction, you'd be good.
