Troubleshooting tail lights on 2005 Infinity G35 Coupe

Question:

My taillights come on with the headlights but dont get brighter when the brake is applied but the third light does and the blinkers all work

It sounds like you may have incandescent bulbs in your tail lights that are not getting the full power output signal since the third light is working and the blinkers are as well. This could be an issue with the bulb or the wiring leading to it. I wonder if the running lights and stop/turn circuits are wired backwards for the light. One sure way to test to see if your wiring is working correctly is to put a tester like the multimeter # PT89ZR on the wires to see if there is a difference in the voltage based on function.

For replacement bulbs, I recommend the Putco PURE Premium 7440 LED Bulbs - 360 Degree - Red - 2 Pack # P237440R360 which will be bright and draw less power to function.
