Installation of the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack on 2018 Cottage by Cedar Creek Trailer
Question:
Are the bolt patterns on an electric lift standard to most A frames? Thinking of adding it to a 2018 Cottage by Cedar Creek 40 CCK. Does the hot wire go to the RV battery or to the wiring of the trailer plug to vehicle? I guess you can tell that I am an RV rookie! Thank you

All A-frame trailer jacks use the same 3 inch bolt pattern that will match the pattern on the tongue of your trailer.
The Lippert Components Trailer Jack, # LC285318, that you referenced will work well for your application. The jack's 3,500 lbs lift capacity will be plenty for the tongue of your trailer. The jack includes a LED light to increase night visibility and an emergency crank if you lose battery charge.
The electrical power to the jack should be connected to the RV battery. This will allow you to use the jack even when the trailer is not connected to your tow vehicle.
