Will the curt trailer hitch on my totaled 2008 Jeep Liberty fit my 2017 Subaru Forester

You will need a new hitch since the Jeep Liberty and Subaru Forester are such different vehicles. For that the best option would be the Draw Tite part # 75876 which has the best capacities and price.
I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well. For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 118467 which is also a confirmed fit. Install video for this attached as well.
