Since the Curt Wiring Harness for Vehicle-End Trailer Connectors # C56229 is a universal item it can be used for many different vehicles. The difficult thing sometimes is that not all vehicle manufacturers use the same wire color coding system. The colors can even vary from year to year with the same makes and models of vehicles.
The best way to know that you have installed the Curt connector correctly is to use a Circuit Tester # PTW2992 and the test the functions of the wiring you are connecting it to. You will want to connect the wires on the Curt connector to the following functions:
Green - Right Turn Signal
Yellow - Left Turn Signal
White - Ground
Brown - Tail/Side Marker Lights
Blue - Electric Brake
Black - Auxiliary Power
Purple - Backup/Reverse Lights
The installation instructions are attached for you to check out as well.
