For your 2011 Honda Pilot, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118491. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Honda Pilot's wiring harness. The connection point for the 4-way tow harness is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side. The ModuLite plugs into the factory wiring harness within the driver's-side storage compartment in your rear cargo area. Once you've plugged in the ModuLite, insert the included fuses and relays into your fuse panel as indicated in the instructions. This will give you a 4-way flat if you don't already have one.

Then you can use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7 that will give you the circuit breakers, connections, and wiring needed to add a brake controller. I've attached a video to assist.

Then for a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This proportional brake controller will give you an easy to read screen for diagnostics and connection information along with easy to use presets. It removes the error codes of most brake controllers that can be confusing and time consuming. It will apply your trailer brakes at the same time and with the same amount of pressure as you hit the brake pedal in your Pilot.

These products will give you a complete system to allow you to tow your pop-up and many other trailers with your 2011 Honda Pilot.
