Are Just Mounting Brackets Available for a 2005 Scion xA

Question:

about a year ago i purchased the Falcon 2 tow bar and the 1170-1 mounting bracket kit for a 2006 Scion xa. That vehicle was wrecked. I now have a 2005 scion xa and need to get the portion of the mounting bracket that bolts to the vehicle frame. I have all of the other parts, including the crossbar and quick disconnect plate. My question is can I just order the mounting brackets that bolt to the cars frame? and if so what would the cost of that be? Thank you

I spoke to my contact at Roadmaster and they do not offer replacement vehicle side mounting brackets for vehicles. You will have to purchase the complete Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, # 1170-1, for your new vehicle.

The reason is a safety concern, and a fit issue. For safety they want to make sure no parts that were in an accident are reused, and the drawbars may not be correctly sized to fit in a new base plate receiver.
