Drawbar for 2018 Subaru Forester With Factory Hitch
Question:
Just got a 2018 Forester with Subaru installed hitch. It came with a Subaru 3 inch /rise ball mount, but I think I need no mount. I measured the hitch and the trailer, and they both came out at 16 inches. What hitch mount do you recommend for the perfect fit? I believe I need class I as my car only tows to 1,500 lbs. I am just towing my single axle 18 foot boat trailer, with no boat.

The 2018 Subaru Forester OEM hitch is Class I, so you would only need a Class I compatible drawbar. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 3591, which has no drop and just a 5/8" rise. This drawbar comes with a pin and clip so the only thing you'd need is a compatible hitch ball. For a 2" ball you would want # 19258, and for a 1-7/8" hitch ball you would want # 19256.
I have added a link to a video review of this drawbar for you to take a look at.
