Intermittent Connect Troubleshooting for Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w Integrated Controller
Question:
I have a 2010 2500 Suburban that I am using to tow a boat trailer with and EOH set up to Titan Brake Rite system. The suburban has the factory brake controller. Without the adapter dx35fr the suburban controller wouldnt register the trailer. After adding the adapter next to the Titan system the display indicates that the trailer is connected and the brake system works great. However when I stop and turn the engine off like to refuel and restart the suburban, the trailer brakes dont seem to register. I have to unplug and replug the 7pin connection to the rig to get it to work. This simple unplug and replug seems to work every time. Any ideas how to get it to work without doing the unplug trick? Thank you!

Well the best solution I can recommend for you is a controller that is designed to work with an electric over hydraulic system without the use of an adapter like the Prodigy P2 # 90885. The setups that require an adapter like yours are known to just be a little bit temperamental and unpredictable so they aren't ideal solutions.
The P2 though would solve the problem and would give you basically the nicest brake controller on the market.
