Which Sidewinder Pin Box Replaces Leland 7900 of 1999 Jayco Designer 3610
Question:
I recently purchased a 1999 jayco designer 3610 and love towing it. But I am having clearance issues with my 2015 ram 2500 short bed non ram box even when I slide my pro series 20k back to the maneuvering position. Been told a sidewinder would be my best option but am having issues finding right part number for my pin box. Only plate on pin box says Leland engineering p/n af 7900 csa 15,000 gvwr.

According to my contact at Reese the Leland 7900 pin box has the same measurements as the 7910 which means the correct Sidewinder for it would be # ST400-5AS16K.
With this you'd have considerably more clearance than your Pro Series slider. Almost 9 more inches of clearance to be exact. If you use this with your slider hitch you have to leave the hitch slid forward at all times.
