2 Bike Trailer Hitch Mounted Rack for a 2018 Coachmen Pursuit Class A Motor Home
Question:
Will the Swagman Titan 2 bike rack work on my Class A motorhome. Its a 2018 Coachmen Pursuit.

The Swagman Titan 2-bike rack # S63400 will not work on RV's or trailers but it will work on a motorhome. The reason for this is that the distance from the trailer hitch to the axle is much longer than in a passenger vehicle and the bouncing and swaying is much greater than the movement behind a passenger vehicle. However the motorhome is approved. The titan has a built in cable lock and you can purchase the anti-rattle hitch lock # S64029.
I can also recommend the Curt # C18085 rack. This is a wheel mounted rack that is also rated for motorhome use. It can carry bikes weighing up to 45 pounds each and fits both 1-1/4 inch and 2-inch trailer hitch receivers. Because of the unique shape of this rack, it carries a wide range of bike frame and wheel sizes without any special adapters. This rack doesn't include locks, so I recommend adding a hitch lock, part # e98879 and a 10-foot Cable Lock, part # e98891 to increase the security of the lock.
