Should Draw Tite Hitch Installed on 2017 Ford Edge Interfere with Hands Free Lift Gate
Question:
I purchased a hitch back in June for a 2017 Ford Edge. Installation went well. Only problem the feature on the car to open tailgate with my foot does not work. apparenty the electronic eye is blocked. any suggestions? this is my second request for a comment. thanks

Sorry to hear about that. Have you tried kicking to either side of the hitch opening instead? Typically that allows the sensor to be used just fine according to our contacts at Draw Tite.
We even had a customer come back and say the # 75234 worked just fine with the sensors.
