Is Yakima HangOut3 Bike Rack Safe to Use on Vehicle

Has there been in car damage reported from this trunk rack?

We haven't had any reports of the Yakima HangOut3 part # Y02638 causing vehicle damage. Like with all trunk racks the important thing to do is to keep the vehicle pain clean when using the rack and to always stay under the weight capacity of the rack which is 90 lb or 35 lbs for a single bike.
