Adapter Recommendation for 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 to Allow Draw Tite Slider Hitch to Install
Question:
I am looking to purchase a new 2017 2500 GMC 61/2inch box with factory installed prep hitch kit to haul my 27foot Palomino Puma 5th wheel. I presently have on my 2005 Chevy Silverado a 16k DrawTite hitch with slider. Am I correct in assuming I simply need to also purchase a GMC adapter kit to allow the slider to tie down to the factory installed hitch setup?

Yes, all you need is the appropriate adapter to allow your Draw Tite hitch to fit the factory rail kit of your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 part # DM6194 which we have tested as being compatible with the Draw Tite/Reese fifth wheel hitches.
