It sounds to me like you are looking for a 5th wheel hitch installation kit that is compatible with the factory overload leaf springs on your 4x4 1993 Ford F-250 with 8' bed.

In order to mount a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of your truck, I recommend using the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30035. The installation brackets will not interfere with your factory overload springs. As long as the 5th wheel hitch uses industry standard above bed mounting rails then this installation kit will work well for you. The brackets are universal and the only option we have for you at this time.

If you do not already have a 5th wheel hitch, the best option I can offer you is the Reese 20K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30081. This is a popular 5th wheel trailer hitch with built-in vibration dampeners and 4-way pivoting head. As long as your 5th wheel trailer does not exceed 20,000 lbs this hitch will work well for you.

For a cost effective option, I recommend using the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30928. This 5th wheel hitch also has a dual-jaw system with towing capacity up to 20,000 lbs. The dual jaw system mentioned in both of these 5th wheel hitches provides a 360 degree contact point between the king pin and jaw to prevent chucking and jarring.

You may want to consider adding a set of rear suspension enhancements to prepare your truck to tow a 5th wheel trailer. For this I recommend using the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR250SDE as these upgraded bump stops will do an excellent job of providing additional support as needed so you always have a smooth, comfortable ride.
