Recommended Tire pressure for LoadStar Tire on Pop-up Trailer

Question:

We pull a 2000 lb pop up trailer with LoadStar tires. Were sort of new to all this. We want to make certain we have the tires inflated correctly. The information on the side of the tires is: Load Star K550 ST 205/75 D14 [F78-14] Tubeless for trailer use only maximum air pressure 60 psi The information sticker on the side of the trailer says 50psi. The tire pressure currently reads 35. I would appreciate any information you could send me. We leave tomorrow on our next trip!

You always want to run your trailer tires at the max psi listed on the current tires. This reduces uneven wear and gives you proper traction and heat dispersion. If you don't run at that max psi on your tires you risk overheating and blow out, not to mention that your load capacity will not be the same as it is rated on that max psi when inflated cold (prior to your trip).

The sticker on your trailer has to do only with the tires that came on your trailer and is not accurate based on the sidewall markings of your current tires.

I've attached a Frequently Asked Questions article to assist. Let me know if you have any other questions about tires or anything else regarding your trailer.
