According to your owner's manual you can only install a set of tire chains on the front two wheels. The tire chains must be class "S" certified. It is also not recommended to use snow tire chains if you have aluminum wheels. You will want to review the owner's manual for any other tire chain stipulations that may apply to your vehicle.

One thing people do not realize before purchasing a set of tires chains for their vehicle is installation difficulty. Although it may seem fairly straight forward, installing a set of tires chains on your vehicle can be difficult and time consuming even for an experienced installer. The last thing you will want to be doing outside in a cold snowy environment is attaching tire chains to your vehicle.

For a set of S rated tire chains confirmed to fit the P225/55R18 tires on your 2017 Kia Sportage, I recommend using the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains part # TH01594240. The Konig Tire Chains are an excellent tire chain option for a few reason. 1, the anti-scratch nylon bumpers protect your rims from nicks and gouges. 2, the dual sided d-shaped chain links provide superior traction. 3, the patented self-centering, self-tensioning system makes installation easy.

Another more economical option we have for you is the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains part # PW1042. The Glacier Tire Chains are a good option but will not offer near as much traction as the Konig option.
