Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 1905
Question:
Tow Vehicle 2016 Ford F150 2wd Supercab with factory tow and oem brake controller. Trailer, 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 1905 single axle, max trailer weight 3895lbs, dry tongue weight 389 lbs. I would like to use the above Equal i zer 4pt hitch, but have gotten answers from forums and even a rep from Equal i zer that leaves me still unsure if this will work on the single axle trailer... The dealer I am buying the trailer from says I do not need a wdh, only a friction sway bar, but I do not want to drill holes or weld to the frame of the trailer. I know they are a popular item, but I would prefer the wdh with sway built in... no drilling and no chains. We will not exceed max trailer wgt. but may possibly get to 500 - 550 lbs tongue weight. Would this particular rated hitch be able to be dialed in to work for me? On the Equal i zer website, the hitch calculatorinch comes up with the 1000-10000 lb hitch, but for this little trailer, that seems like way too much. No way I would have that much tongue wgt with what we are doing... I plan on travelling with the fresh or grey/black tanks all empty. Thanks for any answers! I have looked at so many different makes and models, for wdh and sway control, and the Equal i zer 4pt hitches have the features I am interested in.

If you are absolutely sure your loaded tongue weight would never get beyond 500-550 lbs the Equalizer kit part # EQ37060ET would be a great option as it has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs, has built in sway control, and does not use chains like you said you didn't want.
You will need a thin walled socket to install the hitch ball though. For that you would want the part # ALL643216.
