Can I Tow a 2000 Catalina Lite 5th Wheel With a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 5-1/2 Short Bed?

I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4 5.5foot short bed with the 5.3 engine and 3.43 rear end. I have a Reese Pro 16k stationary hitch in the bed. Im wanting to pull a 2000 Coachman Catalina Lite 259, with a fabex 500 pin box. Would the Reese Sidewinder RP61410 be my solution?

Yes, the Sidewinder that is compatible with your Fabex 500 Pin Box and your Reese 16K 5th Wheel, # RP30047, is the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin # RP61412. This will give you the best possible turning clearance on the market.

When placing your order for the Sidewinder, be sure to get some LubriMatic Industrial Strength Grease, # L11390. Reese recommends greasing the skid plate and around the the wedge on the Sidewinder.
