Recommendation on a Trailer Hitch for a 2008 Lexus RX350
Question:
I have decided to purchase the Yakima LiteRider 3 Bike Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting - Aluminuminch and I would like to know the best hitch receiver for my 2008 Lexus RX350. I want a Class 3, 2inch hitch if possible but most importantly one that is easy to install, safe and fits the LiteRider. Thanks and great website.

For your 2008 Lexus RX350 we have two trailer hitches that are confirmed fits. The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13530, and the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Trailer Hitch, # 75153.
Both hitches have Class III ratings and the 2 inch hitch opening. The Yakima LiteRider 3 Bike Rack that you referenced will work well for either hitch.
Both hitches install basically the same and have around the same average installation time. There are no major components of the vehicle, like the bumper fascia, that will need to be removed during installation. Both have a sturdy steel construction and are designed to custom-fit the Lexus RX350.
Now with that said, between the two I recommend the Curt hitch over the Draw-Tite hitch for two reasons. First, since the construction and quality of both are very similar I like the Curt hitch because it is economically priced over the Draw-Tite, Finally, the Curt hitch is manufactured in the USA while the Draw-Tite hitch is not.
Since the Yakima bike rack is a hanging bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar. # UB01. If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes then the # UB01 will provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
