Replacement Landing Gear Follow Leg for 2007 Alpenlite

Question:

What is the difference between 179013 and 179014? I have a 2007 Alpenlite and the leg on the passenger side seems to be stripped out. I bought the gear box, but its fine. Thanks,

The difference between parts # LC179013 and # LC179014 is that part # LC179013 is the Lead Leg, which means it is always connected to the manual crank or electric motor, while part # LC179014 is the Follow Leg, which means it will only be connected to the second motor in a dual motor setup.

Typically the Lead Leg is on the driver's side of the vehicle so you will most likely want the Follow Leg. You can verify this by looking at your landing gear and checking out which side has the motor.
