Threaded Rod, Gears, and Pins for Ram Square Sidewind Jack
Question:
someone jacked the jack all the way up and kept going and sheared the pin on the large bevel gear. I cant get the pin out to replace it because the section of the pin that is still in the acne screw is partially below the bearing race. I tried using vice grips to move the acne screw down and let the shaft come up a bit but it is jammed tightly and will not move. Any suggestions?

For your Ram 10,000 lb jack, it sounds like you will need to rebuild it as the amount of force used most likely damaged the gears and the threaded rod. I recommend the Replacement Rod and Nut for etrailer and Ram Square, Direct Weld Jacks - 12K # TJD-12000-RODNUT along with the Replacement Sidewind Gear Kit for etrailer and Ram Square, Direct Weld Jacks - 10,000 lbs # TJD-12000-GR designed for use with TJD-12000 Series jacks.
There is most likely not a clean and easy way to remove the gear with pinched pin. You will need to use tools that allow torque to persuade it to come loose if you are not able to simply remove it with other pieces to replace.
