Does Titan Model 6 Actuator Need Reverse Lock Out Solenoid
Question:
I am replacing an old 1974 Atwood surge brake actuator on a EZ Loader boat trailer Drum Brakes with the Titan model 6 T4079200. Do I really need the reverse lockout solenoid also?

If you want to be able to back your trailer up without the brakes applying you will need the lock out solenoid part # T4748800 with your actuator part # T4079200.
Otherwise your brakes will lock up every time your trailer gets reversed.
