Can Vehicle with Separate Turn Signals from Stop Lights be Wired for Tow Bar Lighting As Combined

Question:

I am wiring from a combined system on the motorhome to a seperate system on a 2017 Honda Civic. The turn signal and brake lights on the Civic are standard bulbs. The running lights are LED. Will the subject parts work and can you provide a wiring diagram? I see no reason why the turn signal or brake lights would be a problem, but am concerned about the LED running lights.

You can easily wire the # RM-15267 to a vehicle with a separate turn signal circuit from the stoplight circuit. You would just need to wire the vehicle up like it's combined. To do this you would basically use the lights of the vehicle that control the running lights and the brighter stop lights instead of trying to use the separate turns signals.

This will operate the stop lights like a combined circuit and will work great. I attached a diagram that shows how to do this.

Check out "option 1" at the attached FAQ article below as well.
