Airbag Lift Spacer for a 1" Lift Kit on a 2016 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 Z71. I currently have the ride right airbag helper in my truck now but would like to lift the rear an inch. Do i need to add spacers to my airbags as well?

Yes, you will need to add a spacer between the bottom of the airbag bracket and the bottom of your airbag if the distance between the top of your bottom bracket and the bottom of your top bracket is between 6-1/2" to 7-1/2". For this I recommend using the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2536. If the distance is less than 6-1/2" you will not need to add any additional lift spacers.
