Adding Wiring for Braking System With a 2006 Jeep Wrangler.

Question:

My current set up: 1-) Back of the RV available 7 way female plug (OEM) 2-) 7 way to 4 way adapter 3-) On the towed car portable/magnet lights are currently powered with straight 4 way attached back of the RV to the 7 way to 4 way adapter. Desired new set up: 1-) In addition to be able to continue using the portable/magnet towed lights with its 4 way plug, 2-) Provide 12v power for towed vehicle battery charger. (Purchased RVi battery charger) 3-) I need some kind of a 5 or 6 way female plug (receiver) with 4 way also to install on my towed car (jeep) bumper where i can connect the 4 way portable/magnet lights connection and the battery charger 12v (this would be permanent, not the portable lights) then get a 7 way to 5 or 6 way umbilical cord to connect from back of the RV to front of the Jeep, towed car. 7 way to 4 way adapter will no longer be needed from the current set up. What do I need to do this preferably without cutting or soldering wires. I am looking at etrailer for correct parts to order and I am perplexed.

In order to get 12V for your battery charger, you will only need to splice wires. You would want to us the 4-Pole Loop with Cover # HM47115, cut off one connector and splice it into the RoadMaster 6-Wire Trailer Connector # RM-910030-7. For an adapter you would then want to use the Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Pole # HM47053.

I've added a couple links to video reviews of these products for you to take a look at.
