For the ST235/80R16 tire, you have a 30.79 inch outer diameter with a 9.25 inch width. Moving up to the ST235/85R16 tire, you will move to a 31.7 inch outer diameter with a 9.3 inch width. As long as you have the space for the extra 1/2 inch in your suspension travel, you will be able to move up in size. You always want to make sure your tires are inflated to the max psi when filled cold. This is how trailer tires are intended to function correctly and more or less tire pressure can lead to uneven wear and even blow outs.

Due to your history of blow outs, I recommend the Westlake ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # LHWL410. This tire comes with a 5 year warranty and 2 years complimentary roadside assistance. This tire is rated for 4,400 lbs at 110 psi and has a speed rating of 75 mph max.

The Taskmaster Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # TTWPRG235R16 is also an excellent option with a 2 year warranty. It is rated for the same load, but has a speed rating up 81 mph max.

If your current wheels don't have a valve stem rated for this psi, I recommend the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long - Over 100 psi # AM20906.
