Recommended Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 with Air-Lift Airbags

I am looking to purchase an under mount gooseneck hitch for my 2012 Ram 3500 long box truck. I have the AIR LIFT 57295 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit installed on my truck and I want to make sure I purchase the correct hitch that wont interfere with the Air springs. Can you recommend a hitch or hitches that will work?

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57295 attaches to top of the rear axle below the factory bump stop mounts. Therefore these airbags will not interfere with any of our gooseneck hitches we have for your 2012 Dodge Ram 3500.

For a gooseneck hitch compatible with your vehicle I recommend using the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit part # BWGNRK1308 for models with the gas engine and part # BWGNRK1313 for models with the diesel engine. I recommend using our B&W hitch over it's competitors for many reasons however the most important of which is the compatibility it has when switching to a 5th wheel trailer.

If you ever decide to switch to a 5th wheel trailer you can easily install the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3500 by sliding the receiver tube into the ball opening of the gooseneck hitch without any other installion kits required.
