Valterra T-68 and T-68B Double RV Waste Valves Differences

The T-68 and T-68b waste hubs look the same in the pictures. What is the actual difference,

The part # T68 has a 3 inch and 1-1/2 inch hub that slide OVER a water line whereas the part # T68B has a spigot of the same size that slides INTO a water line.
So the differences are basically do you need a male or a female style setup.
