Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2011 Porsche Cayenne

Question:

Hi I have seen 2 different recommendations for wiring harnesses for the Porsche Cayenne. Could you please help with explaining the different recommendations or fitments of these 2 suggested items? I am unsure which way to proceed. Thank you.

The two trailer wiring harnesses that were mentioned in the questions you viewed are both universal style harnesses that are slightly different. Both would work for installing a 4-way but the part # 119190KIT would be a bit more difficult to install since it requires splicing and the part # 119250KIT uses sensors that wrap around the wiring instead.

I would recommend the # 119250KIT instead as it will install much easier.
