Recommend Recovery Winch for a Kawasaki 3010 Mule Trans 4x4 Diesel
Question:
I have a 3010 4 x 4 Kawasaki Mule. My need is the capacity to pull it up a 40 degree muddy creek bank. Understand the Mule weighs about 1400 lbs. Should I use a snatch block ? I would like to mount it permanently. Thanks,

I have the perfect option that will allow you to pull your Kawasaki 3010 Mule Trans 4x4 Diesel up a 40 degree incline. As you have identified the ATV weighing up to 1,400 lbs. you will want a winch with a line pull strength of 3,500 lbs. at minimum to account for the incline.
For this, I recommend using the Bulldog Winch Custom-Fit Steel Winch Mount part # BDW15121 in addition to the Bulldog Winch Utility Winch part # BDW10004. This winch has a 1.87 hp motor with a 85' long steel cable and a 6' wired handheld remote. You can choose to convert the winch to a wireless remote system using the Bulldog Winch Wireless Controller part # BDW20156.
If you will not be pulling the ATV out at a straight angle, I recommend using a pulley block like the Winch Pulley Block with Hook part # BDW20004 as this will reduce stress on the winch and it's fairleads.
I have included a review video of the Bulldog winch for you.
