Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Ram 2500 Short Bed with Factory Rail Kit

I just purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 6.7 litre diesel cummins engine. I bought with the intent of purchasing a fifth wheel trailer this winter. I was fortunate maybe unfortunate? that the truck came with a rail system already in the bed of the truck. Now all I need is the fifth wheel hitch. Given the rails that I have in the truck now, am I limited to any particular brand or size? I am likely purchasing a 2017 Grand Design Reflection model 327RST with a weight of 10400 lbs. I was really impressed with the Reese auto glide however I am open to any suggestions based on what is already in my vehicle. I am hoping not to have to replace the rails but if there is no alternative that may happen. Any advice is appreciated on what hitches I could use or fit. See attached photos for rail descriptions. The rails are approximately 16inch apart

For your 2015 Ram 2500 with 6 foot bed, I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # DM6099 along with the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 18,000 lbs # DM8550034. This hitch will automatically move to give you clearance for turning. It will hold the pin box of your trailer secure and the head of the hitch will use controlled movement to ensure the hitch will provide enough clearance for your trailer. This hitch has a 14 inch travel from front to back.

If you want a more cost effective option, I recommend the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Ram Towing Prep Package # C16022 and the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16521. This manual slider has a two-piece locking jaw, a three point indicatory system to ensure your trailer is coupled correctly, round tubes for smother adjustment, and 12 inches of travel front to back. Unlike the Autoslide, this hitch will require manual adjustment for turning clearance.

I also recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long # C56000 for the bed of your truck to allow easier connection access for whatever hitch you determine is best for you.

The Reese Auto Glide is a capture plate that is not needed for these applications.
