Replacement Fulton Snap Ring Jack for 2004 Triton TR 1863 Boat Trailer
Question:
I need to replace a 2004 fulton welded on snap clip jack that has a outer tube diameter of 2 3/8. This is on a 2004 triton tr 186 boat trailer. Do you have anything that will fit this tube size?

The standard outer tube for a trailer jack has 2-1/4" diameter , which is very close to the 2-3/8" you mentioned. You may want to measure the diameter of your outer tube using a caliper like # PTW80157 to make sure you get an accurate reading.
Although we don't have a Fulton marine jack with a 2 3/8" outer tube, but we do have something that will work. Fulton Snap Ring Marine Jacks, like # FTJ120W0301 are designed to fit snap ring pilot holes which are 2.313" in diameter. If yours measures the same, this jack will attach easily. If not, you can install the included mounting bracket.
When selecting a replacement jack for your trailer, the most important thing to consider is the weight capacity. Your jack should be rated for your tongue weight capacity (TW) of your trailer, not your gross trailer weight (GTW). The jack I mentioned, # FTJ120W0301, is rated at 1200 lb capacity. We carry similar jacks with capacities that range from 400 lbs to 1,600 lbs. I've provided a link to our selection as well as our FAQ Article on Trailer Jacks.
