Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2010 Honda Odyssey

Question:

I am looking for a trailer hitch for a 2010 honda odyssey and have two questions. 1 which of your hitches is less noticeable from back and has more ground clearance when installed. 2 On a car this old reviews look like I will need to tap bolt holes. Do you sell the tap tools? Thanks!

On your 2010 Honda Odyssey all the trailer hitch receiver options will be noticeable from the back as even the crosstube is exposed. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36417 which is the least noticeable based on size. This is your best option for being discreet.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75270 will give you more options for accessories and greater strength while being a little more noticeable, but it may be something to consider in the trade off.

There is no drilling or tapping needed for either of these hitch receivers to be installed on your vehicle.

If you will be using this hitch receiver for towing, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118438. This harness installs to factory wiring found behind the passenger side trim panel in your rear cargo area.

I've attached the link to your ball mount options and have also attached an article to help you select the correct one for your application.
