Recommended Hitch Pin for Trailer Hitch on 2013 Fiat 500

Question:

I just installed the etrailer hitch for my 2013 Fiat Abarth, and with the video to help, it went very smoothly. The only issue is that the hitch pin is almost impossible to install and remove because of the tight space. Can you recommend another option for this? Im surprised this hasnt come up before. Thanks.

Since there is not much space around the hitch pin hole for a standard elbow style pin like # C21500, I recommend looking at a straight, locking hitch pin like our etrailer.com # e98879. This is a straight hitch pin that will also be an upgrade over your existing unit because of its locking capability. Its chrome plating will resist rust and the covered key slot will prevent internal corrosion. This is compatible with the 1-1/4 inch receiver on your 2013 Fiat and should work great to resolve the issues you mentioned.
