Are Both the 7-way and 4-way of the Trailer Connector Part # HM40975 Active
Question:
Can both trailer plugs be plugged in at the same time .... i.e. my 7 pin camper plug and my 4 pin trailer plug?

The 4-way and 7-way side of the part # HM40975 are both active at the same time. If you needed to plug in both styles of connector at the same time you could if the lids could open far enough.
Basically only one lid can be open at a time.
# HM40920 is an example of a 7 and 4-way that can both be used at the same time.
