Recommended 4-Step Assembly for 2012 Voltage Model 3950
Question:
I have a 2012 Voltage Model 3950. I want to replace the 3 step entry steps with 4 steps. I want the Lippert LC432698 but I am 27 1/2 wide at the top and they are 28. Is that going to be a problem?

As you mentioned, the Lippert Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step # LC432698 referenced in your question has a mounting base that is 28 inches wide. This is awfully close to the 27-1/2 inches of space that you have, close enough that you should be able to persuade this wider set into the mount of your older step assembly. You will also want to check the bolt pattern on your existing hardware to ensure this will match up. The bolt hole centers on this unit are 26-3/4 inches wide and 7 inches deep.
I have attached a video demonstration on this product so you can get a better look at its features.
