Recommended Spare Tire Hitch Mount And Locks For 2000 Ford F-550
Question:
I have a 2000 F550 with 19.5 inch wheels that does not have a spare tire due to fuel tank set up, will this work on my vehicle? I dont know tire wieght at this time but if it is over 100 lbs., is there another carrier that would work.

The Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Universal Spare Tire Carrier # 6715 will for on your truck as long as it is within the 100 lb weight capacity limit. Another option for your 2000 Ford F-550 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # C31006 which doesn't have a capacity rated limit.
I recommend using a hitch receiver lock like # e98880 to secure your mount and a spare tire lock like # e98892 to secure your spare and deter theft.
